What is Micropigmentation/Semi permanent makeup?

I use fine needles to insert EU approved pigments into the dermal layer of the skin as a means of producing designs that resemble the appearance of make up, such as eyebrows, eyeliner and lipstick.

It is most commonly referred to and known by many as Semi Permanent Makeup, yet other names include:

* Microblading
* Dermapigmentation
* PMU
* Micropigmentation
* Cosmetic tattooing

Surprisingly the latter is the most appropriate, seeing as Semi Permanent Makeup is in fact a form of tattooing.

Are your products cruelty free?

Yes. All products used are 100 % cruelty free and vegan.

Do I need a consultation?

No. The procedure time allows for me to be able to discuss your desired effect before the procedure starts.

Does it hurt?

This is a hard one, as all pain levels differ. As a whole no, pain is kept to a minimum through out the procedure. I find most clients are extremely nervous at first, but are then pleasantly surprised by the lack of discomfort throughout. I have even had clients fall asleep during a procedure!

Is there a lot of long term care following a procedure?

No. Following your procedure you will be given aftercare instructions to follow for 4 weeks. After this time though I do recommend you keep the area moisturised and protected from the sun, to keep it looking its best.

Is Semi permanent makeup right for me?

A lot of time and money has gone into my training to ensure I offer the widest range of treatments possible. All procedures are tailored to suit you as an individual, no matter what your style, age or lifestyle. Sadly some health conditions and medications may mean that you are unable to proceed with a procedure.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes. No patch test no procedure.

Will I need time off work?

No, all procedures require no down time. I do warn clients there may be some swelling for around 48hrs after any eyeliner or lip procedures.

Can I chose my style and design?

Most of the time yes. As a professional it is my job to ensure the end results create the best version of you. If I feel your request won’t lead to this outcome or I feel it’s something you may regret later on, I work with you to ensure we get your desired results alongside what is going to be best for you in the long run.
